We are now accepting stories for June 2017 onward.
As you may have noticed we had some unscheduled downtime where new stories weren’t appearing on the site; this was caused by a combination of personal and technical issues. I’m not going to go into details about either but suffice it to say that these have been resolved and The WiFiles is back in business with stories approved and scheduled well into the summer of 2016. Thanks for your patience.
The WiFiles had a couple of issues recently, since September: the site itself stopped posting the accepted submissions, which has now been rectified and – at the end of August – my appendix ruptured so as I was pretty ill I didn’t notice the technical issue with the site. Apologies for that but we are back up and running now!
The WiFiles are back and we hope that you all had a great New Year! 2013 is upon us, the world didn’t end, and we are looking forward to receiving and reading your submissions.
The WiFiles won’t be responding to (or even checking, to be honest) submissions or emails until early in the new year as we are about to take a two week break. Have a safe and Happy Christmas!
The WiFiles has hit a major milestone. We’ve just accepted our 100th story for publication: A Wish for Mama by Julie Minicozzi which will be published and available from 12th May 2013 onwards!
We are currently reading material for publication from June 2013 onwards.
As always thank you to each and every person who has submitted so far – and to everyone who is reading and enjoying The WiFiles – for making this venture so successful!
I’ve just accepted a story for the 30th December 2012 edition and am currently reading pieces that will go live in 2013 – please be aware when submitting that while decisions around publishing your work may be relatively quick they may not be physically published for some time. They will, of course, be published!
Thank you to each and every person who has submitted so far – and to everyone who is reading and enjoying The WiFiles – for making this venture so successful!
